All adult citizens of R. Macedonia over the age of 18, which receive regular salary or pension, have the right to open a current account.

The Bank issues a checking card, for which the following types of checks can be issued:

- citizen check which can be used for payments with a maximum amount of 1,200,00 denars, or for withdrawing money from the Bank or any teller of the Macedonian Post Office, with a maximum amount of 2.000,00 denars,

- silver citizen check -it's issued to customers with a regular monthly income during the last year of over 20,000,00 denars, who also don't possess any other types of checks. This check can only be used for cash withdrawals at any teller of the Macedonian Post Office, with a maximum amount 6.000,00 denars .

- golden citizen check - it's issued to customers with a regular monthly income during the last year of over 30,000,00 denars, who also don't possess any other types of checks. This check can only be used for cash withdrawals at any teller of the Macedonian Post Office, with a maximum amount 12.000,00 denars .

Current account opening conditions:

1. Salary payment trough the Bank
- Filled application form by the legal entity
- Agreement for salary payment and other expenses
- A list of employees for which the current accounts are opened

2. Opening current accounts for individuals
- correctly filled application form by the customer
- two creditworthy guarantors
- Certificate for employment (the applicant and guarantors)
- A draft signed by the applicant and guarantors at the Bank .

Criteria for check issuing:

- Current balance of the current account
- Number of unused checks at the moment of issuing
- Current account history

The check issuing criteria is automated in the bank software.

Allowed overdraft for current accounts:

The allowed overdraft for current accounts depends on the type of contract the Bank signed with the customer, and can be from one up to two salary amounts.

Current account authorization:

The current account holder can give authorization to another individual, who can than make transactions trough the current account.

Information about the current account balance:

- Ones a month, the Bank sends a report in printed form concerning the current accounts balance to every customer at his home or work address.

- The current account users can see the current account balance and other information on the Bank internet page.

- Check issuing and reclamations are done in the Bank building or at the Bank tellers located at the Macedonian Post Office.
